I'm lucky enough to have never been in a serious accedent (a fender bender here, a twirl around on black ice there, but nothing that caused injuries).
All it takes though is one accident to change your entire view on driving. You drive slower, my grandmother, was always paranoid about people wearing their seatbelts (she was in an accident when my parents were driving actually, and was the only one not to walk away beacuse she was the only one without a seatbelt on :S). ANYWAY. I hope he's ok Well the Dr.'s are saying they expect him to make a full recovery, and might be walking again in about a year.
