The celebrity guests really were the stars of the weekend. They were so awesome in a horrible situation.
I did actually see the message Paul put on his site, they posted it on the SCB site. He's such a classy guy.

I've been horrible this week about contacting the people I met, mostly I caught up on sleep and was absorbed with work stuff, but I really don't want to lose contact with those I met. It makes me a little sad that FedCon failed because I can totally understand going to the same cons every year just to meet up again with all the friends you've made. :)
Dreams of "our" (read: a bunch of strangers 24 hours before!)convention.... I hope that we don't just let that idea drop. I haven't gotten any emails about it yet. Do you know the name of the girl who was collecting all the addresses and taking notes on the funny things we were saying? I missed so many people's names this weekend, and it seems rude to ask after we've been hanging out all day :S
for being a complete tanker of a convention that fell apart before it got off the ground, I sure had a hell of a fun time meeting you and Mikela and Alex and and all the other gals that were hanging out and having a good time fangirling! Totally. For everything that went wrong, I still can't be upset that I made the trip, it was so much fun :) You're going to have to tell me in advance all the cons you're going to, because it would be *awesome* to meet up again. Oh, and if you want to friend her, maekala is on LJ too. :)
