Ohh, thanks. I'll try the AVSEdit, because I'll totally admit to giving up on Avisynth because it was weird for me.

Do you use Adobe? I've encountered the problem before when it won't let you import a video because it doesn't like the bit rate but I've never had it let me import but then freeze up when I put it on the time line before. Do you have any ideas as to what is wrong?
