I think the Globe and Mail comments have always displayed incredible ignorance/racism/ethnocentricity. When I was living in China I spent a lot more time over at the G&M trying to keep up on Canadian news and there were some nights where reading the comments would get me so worked up and genuinely upset. Sometimes I just need to step away from the keyboard.

Granted there were some good posts, the ones on the bottom of this post were ones that I thought were intelligent (unlike the one idiot who said none of the members of this coalition were elected *headdesk*)
