you can totally do google searches in the firefox address bar! I do it constantly.
Yeah, but Firefox will see if there's a webpage fitting that description first, so I sometimes end up at really random websites. I shouldn't really complain, I have a Google search box right beside my address bar.

FF does have history search too, but maybe it's not as good as google searches.
Hmm, I guess I never noticed that. I see it now though, I'll have to try that next time.
