Bleh.
So. I'm sick. I've been sick for the past couple days. Snotty nose, dizziness, headache. But work is so busy right now, I really didn't feel I could take any time off so I've really been looking forward to this weekend where I can just veg.
I think I'm just going to spend it watching TV. I still haven't finished Merlin. And I watched the pilot of Being Human this week and kind of want to watch the show now. The premise is amazing and I loved to pilot, but I'm so disappointed that they didn't keep Guy Flanagan for the show, he was one of the awesomest parts of the pilot. I watched the pilot and though "OMG, Mitchell is so like Brian Kinney, George reminds me of Rodney, and the premise is kind of like Supernatural, it's like all my favourite fandoms rolled into one!" Now I'm all nervous and prepared to hate the new Mitchell. :S

I've been thinking about watching Being Human. It does look like a really interesting show, but I certainly don't need to get hooked on another show. I'll be interested in hear whether you think it's worth watching after more eps.

I've been thinking about watching Being Human.
Hmm, well if you do, I'd suggest maybe doing what my friend
The new guys ok, but in my head I just keep thinking what the show would have been like with the other guy. The pilot was sooooo much slashier than the show is. Like the kind of slash that is pretty much canon (there was a scene where Mitchel and George were lounging on the couch and Mitchel is just *drapped* all over George :).
To be fair though, I like the new Annie about a 100X more than the old one.
Still, I'm enjoying the show, I just don't know if I'll get fannish over it now.

Truthfully, I'm leaning towards watching the pilot to see the couch scene that you described. :)

Ha, it wasn't so much of a scene as a series of scenes where George is being all *domestic* and Mitchell is just being all *sexy*.
You can see it here if you want. The domestic scene starts at 8:30, but I'd suggest watching them house hunting too, and 5:25. :)
Granted George and the new Mitchell have their slashy moments too.
