Heh, well we have been planning these ideas for a good 10 months at this point. It also helps that [livejournal.com profile] kronos999 and I are pretty heavy users. [livejournal.com profile] kronos999 has also tried to make scripts and other programs to work with Delicious so that helped her come up with ideas.

I'll definitely check out the link you mentioned. I had seen it when it first got posted but there were only like 4 comments at the time. Looks like there's a lot of good stuff to read in there.

I'm semi-against tag-wrangling in the AO3 sense on an ostensibly general bookmarking site, but I like what you've come up with. A much more gentle form of wrangling. :)
Well, as I mentioned above, [livejournal.com profile] kronos999 and I are heavy Delicious users so a lot of our ideas were geared towards the power users and we felt that best way was through lots of options in the advanced features settings. And since wrangling would be based on user data instead of site defaults, those who aren't interested in wrangling would have the option to turn it off too. :)

To combat the potential fracturing of fanish congregation, I think it would be really cool to have the option of pulling in tag and/or user feeds from other bookmarking sites, so I could subscribe to things tagged 'Inception' on both this site, and delicious and anywhere else.
Ohh, shiny! That sounds awesome! And since most bookmarking sites have those things set up as RSS feeds, I doubt it would even be that hard to do!
