So I was working on a Fighting For the Greater Good rec list and got seriously sidetracked and it ended up more My Favorite AUs That Haven't Been Podficced Yet reclist than anything. :/ I'm crap at keeping within boundaries, sorry. BUT THESE STORIES ARE STILL GREAT, so... win? Also, I am happy to say that MANY of my very favorite stories are also podfics. \o/ I guess I don't need to rec those?

1. The rest of Unholyverse (which started with I Have Been All Things Unholy -- I'm guessing you listened to that already?) is AMAZING. It was one of the first things I read in Bandom. Totally awesome.

2. Purgatorio by [personal profile] tuesdaysgone. Frank the burnt-out detective solving murders. So very good and has a tense climactic fight scene at the end. Has too many incidental characters for me to podfic it, but I want a podfic of it SO BAD. Also, I can never words when I finish reading and so have never left feedback. FAIL SELF. (Frank/Gerard, 27k)

3. Everyone Comes to Pan's by [personal profile] roxy_palace. Bandom faerie diner AU. (I know, right?) With amnesia and angst and magic and all the great things in life. And it's kind of Fighting For the Greater Good if you squint -- there is a battle with a dragon at the end. They totes save the world! (And yays, while I was working on this list it got put up on AO3!) (Frank/Gerard, 35k)

4. Can Never Wrong This Right by [livejournal.com profile] theopteryx One of my favorite stories EVER. I am going to record this at some point, but I have so many projects right now and I have recorded her story Against the Wind so I don't think she'll say no, but she doesn't have blanket permission, so I do have to ASK. D: But... AWESOME story, Indiana Jones AU with soulbonding and pining and augh I can't even. I just love this story so much. (Frank/Gerard, 24k)

5. Run by [livejournal.com profile] mrsronweasley. Frank the teenage werewolf. AWESOME. Hands down my favorite werewolf story of ALL TIME -- and I've read many werewolf stories and loved almost all of them. GO READ IT NOW. IT IS SUPER FANTASTIC. (Frank/Gerard, 63k)

6. A World So Small by [livejournal.com profile] wordslinging. Gothic romance; according to author it is "a little bit Jane Eyre and a little bit Secret Garden" (agreed). Dude, SO MUCH BETTER than historical romantic fiction books. GREAT STUFF. Love it. (Frank/Gerard, 31k)

I also want to second the recs for King and Country and (To Die Will Be) An Awfully Big Adventure. Both are great. ([personal profile] croissantkatie recorded the sequel to King and Country, btw, and it is EXCELLENT.)

There are SO MANY MORE amazing AU stories but I will stop now.
