MOTHER FUCKING FALL OUT BOY!

OK, I know I hardly ever update this thing anymore, especially not with things that aren't podfic announcements, but I just had to write this down, for posterity's sake.

The Fall Out Boy Hiatus Is Over!!!!!!

I can't even tell you how excited I am guys! I had missed the news that they were making an announcement today, until this morning. And even then I didn't expect much, because the Joe had put down the rumours of a get back together last week.

And then I came back from talking with a co-worker to incoherent flailing on Twitter. OMG, I seriously lost it. I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to keep my squeaking under control (only 2 escaped). I flailed, I cried, I gave myself an asthma attack.

For those that haven't heard, not only is the hiatus over, but they've released a single, announced an album and have released a tour schedule

I never thought I'd have a chance to see them live!!!! I thought I had joined the fandom too late.

So, now I'm trying to ~plan things~. May 24-26 they're doing shows in Toronto, Montreal, Boston. I'm hoping I can road trip it! The biggest problem is that the drive home from Boston on Sunday is 7.5 hours long. I'm hoping I can find someone to drive with me, so I can sleep part of the way home. But so far most of the likely local options are going to be going to Wiscon that weekend. :( But! [personal profile] reena_jenkins said she'd go to the Boston show with me! So I can't miss that one!

What is it about fandom that's been giving me so damned many feels lately!? IT'S LIKE I'M NO LONGER A FUNCTIONING HUMAN BEING!!!! And to think, last night I was so down after reading some of the Mikey drama I wanted to give up on RPF forever. Silly Lindsay.
