This is such an interesting and maddening story. I'm so sorry that you're going through this.
About ten years ago, I was extremely lucky when my subarachnoid haemorrhage presented with very standard symptoms and was quickly diagnosed and resolved itself after a few weeks in hospital. I really sympathise with so much of what you went through here, especially the overwhelming mixture of fear and pain and how debilitating it feels. I don't remember much of the first night, but I do remember being sternly told to stop crying because it was making my blood pressure too high.
