I just wanted to send out a big hug and lots of thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. I really appreciated it, since I was kind of depressed that day, and all the wishes made me smile.

I didn't really do much for my birthday this year, it was the first year since we met that

raxhel didn't come down (she tried, it just wouldn't have worked out). Instead though we talked forever on the phone, so that was good.

Other than that though, I just worked and thought angry thoughts at my family and their computer problems. :P

I did however got Season 2 of Numb3rs on DVD, so had fun watching the bloopers once I was off the phone with

raxhel. I'd have to say that my favourite part was when Diane Farr told Rob Morrow "No they're seeing your ass, which is what the viewers really want" So. True! There is never enough Don Ass. :P

Also, I hadn't realized what potty mouths they all where, granted this was really highlighted since they bleeped them all out. The only bloopers I've watched in forever is the QaF ones, and they don't even bother (why are there no SGA bloopers? This makes me sad :( )

And David's face after he gives himself the little punch and it hurts is too adorable for words. Why have I not seen icons using this picture? I don't normally find David all that cute, but I think I need an icon of that face.

Ok, maybe there were a lot of parts I liked:
-Like that older woman telling Diane "Bitch we're acting!"
-Judd Hirsch mentioning that he screwed up his lines because of a cute boy.
-Dylan Bruno saying that he practices doing the little "action snap" thingy at home.
-I didn't really get the whole "Alimi running with the doll" thing, maybe I should rewatch that ep....
-And you can't go wrong with little dances.

kukalaka access to all the goodies, do you want the commentaries as well? I've never tried ripping those before, but I'm game to try...).

So, am dl'ing the Numb3rs sn 2 bloopers. Do you have the season 1 bloopers too? The dvd's released in Australia don't have the extras! (SGA is the only exception)

Ah, don't worry about it. I used to be absolutely horrible with birthdays (actually I still am with RL birthdays) the only reason why I'm better now is I downloaded something for Firefox that digs and turns blue every time someone has a birthday. Without a reminder like that, I never would know. :P

Do you have the season 1 bloopers too?
I don't unfortunately, I got the second season since I already had Season 1 on DVD, but they're the horrible black market Chinese version, so no extras. I'll eventually get Season 1 on DVD, just don't have it yet. When I do though, I promise to post them.

Nope. Just the same extras as the overseas DVDs have. What I was complaining about was that, so far, Numb3rs and SPN in particular were released over here with no extras at all... which is a huge bummer! I had to dl the SPN extras, and am still on the hunt for the sn 1 Numb3rs bloopers...

They're just such a fun group that you *know* they've got to have some really *good* bloopers.

I'm thinking of buying the season 1 DVDs, maybe this week. If I do, I promise to post them.

Have you had a look at the photos on Gateworld? Sometimes shots of outtakes slip in, and there were a few cute ones of Rodney and Ronon from Submersion, from memory.

Shall hold you to those bloopers if you ever get Numb3rs season 1! *g*

I've seen some of the shots from Gateworld, but only ones that have been linked to me. I don't really use Gateworld that much *shrugs*

Think if we started a huge letter writing campaign and got all of fandom involved we could *demand* that they include bloopers? Think it'd work?

Sorry for the thrird comment... But my pc won't let me play the Don interview nor the David interview. Is it just my pc or had someone else also problems?

I don't remember anyone saying anything when I originally posted them (they're not from the DVD they're from the website for the Australian TV channel that plays Numb3rs so I posted them a while ago). I'm checking it out though. You were able to watch the bloopers fine?

The bloopers worked fine. As did the Diane interview.

Yeah, I just downloaded them and they're not working for me either :( I'm trying to track down where I saved the originals, but right now my stuff is kind of spread out between 2 computers ans 3 hard drives, and I can't find it :((

On a sidenote, I've noticed that actors in general tend to be horrible potty mouths. I remember watching the Babylon 5 bloopers and being blown away by how many times they dropped the f-bomb. There was actually a montage to them doing that. It actually gets really funny when you watch it too many times...not...that I...would. ;)

And it *shouldn't* surprise me that the actors swear, like I said, in QaF canon it seemed you couldn't get through 2 minutes of talking without it being dropped, but I guess since it's such a family show it just caught me off guard :P

Yeah, it's easy to get the eps cheap, but, well you get what you pay for, which often means no "real" extras. :(

Since watching the Janus List I have been posting like an ABSOLUTE LUNATIC about Numb3rs and Colby in particular, because I've been rewatching all the season 2 and 3 episodes. My friends list has very few Numb3rs fans so I started to feel very lonely :D I still think it's a crying shame that this show doesn't have a larger following than it does.

I did a google search and also an ljseek search to see whether there was anyone else who had the same feelings of WTF after watching the Janus List. :D I feel much better that I've found some other people!!!

As to the quality of the dvds I can get here in Beijing. Season 1 and 2 dvds were fine, my season 3 dvd set not only is it incomplete, but half of the episodes that were provided don't work properly. It was quite agonising to have the episodes cutting out just as I was about out find out what was going to happen. :D I was in agony until I managed to obtain the episodes by ahem alternate means.

I'm on a bunch of Yahoo mailing lists for Numb3rs and they all kind of exploded after Janus List, but it was still like a week before I watched the ep myself.

I just couldn't believe it. I mean, really, I just did not believe that Colby was bad. He just doesn't have it in him.

I know! Actually, to be fair, it has a wider viewer ship than some of the other shows I watch, it's just the type of audience it has doesn't really participate in fandom. :(

As for Chinese DVDs, most of the ones I bought were ok to watch, although yeah, sometimes a disk here or there wouldn't work, or one time I bought a movie with half the scenes cut out :P Or once I bought a Harry Potter movie, and it was actually in Chinese, not English, and the subtitles were *so* *wrong*. But I also noticed that while the eps were often good, the extras were either non existent, or in one memorable case, were actually fanvids made by some of my friends :P Unbeknownst to them of course.
