Numb3rs
So, in preparation of the new season starting on Friday, I started re-watching Numb3rs. I've gotten through most of season 1, and can I just say? How slashy were Don and Charlie in season 1? I kind of moved away from the fandom, and part of that was because I didn't like the guys with girls, but watching season 1? OMG, I'm suddenly wanting to go search out Don/Charlie fic. Although, I have a feeling, once I get to season 3 I'll totally be wanting to check out the David/Colby fics and the Colby/Charlie fics. So really, if anyone wants to rec Numb3rs fic, especially slash fic, please feel free.

Re: Numbers
Oddly enough, I think RPS usually requires less research. There's far more leeway given that there are fewer details out there for celebrities than for their counterparts.
That really only works with actors, though. Band slash is a whole other ballgame, apparently, but actor RPS has been pretty loose about it, in my experience. (Hewlett and Flanigan especially, which is the only RPS fandom I sort of read and write anymore, though I am absolutely loathe to admit it.)
Thanks a ton for the Charlie/Colby recs. I'll be sure to give them a read. :) You're so awesome when it comes to research.
Re: Numbers
Ahh, see, I've mostly just been exposed to Bandslash, and I think the first time I heard about RPS was way back when it was called Popslash, and was about the Backstreet Boys and N*Sync, and it was a piece of wank about how to interpret the fact that someone was somewhere at sometime (I don't really remember the details just someone saying "And *this* is cannon in my fandom *head desk*).
Thanks a ton for the Charlie/Colby recs. I'll be sure to give them a read. :)
Know what this fandom needs? An archive. Last time I looked, there was only the CalSci Library, and it wasn't automated, and didn't allow slash. I would *love* to just be able to go to an archive and look at the fics for my pairings. The fandom is so small, that we can't just rely on a ton of rec lists, lke I do for SGA, and the comms have so much cross posting and are for so many different pairings....
