Numb3rs
So, in preparation of the new season starting on Friday, I started re-watching Numb3rs. I've gotten through most of season 1, and can I just say? How slashy were Don and Charlie in season 1? I kind of moved away from the fandom, and part of that was because I didn't like the guys with girls, but watching season 1? OMG, I'm suddenly wanting to go search out Don/Charlie fic. Although, I have a feeling, once I get to season 3 I'll totally be wanting to check out the David/Colby fics and the Colby/Charlie fics. So really, if anyone wants to rec Numb3rs fic, especially slash fic, please feel free.

Yeah, I haven't really re-watched the later season, but I was kind of surprised when I went back and watched season 1.
It's, I don't know, a lot more affectionate. I think in the later seasons Don starts taking Charlie for granted a bit more. Also, he'll send Colby or one of the others to get Charlie, or to give Charlie extra information on a case, when in season 1 it was always Don interacting with Charlie.
But I miss Colby...
I more miss Megan. I don't like Terry. I didn't really like Megan all that much to begin with, but she's totally grown on my, and I'm in love with her like whoa.
The bad thing is, I can't remember if they ever said why Terry left, or why Megan and Colby joined. I'm going to start watching season 2 tonight, maybe they'll say then.
Also, as I watched the eps, I rememebered that thing we were talking about earlier this summer, about writing down funny quotes. I was watching the eps with my family so couldn't pause to write things down, but I made little notes on places to go back to. Maybe one day I'll actually follow through :P

That is so true. But it's probably because everything is new for both of them. Now Charlie walks into his office with all his confidence why in the first season he was still a bit shy. One of my favourite scenes in the first season is when Don find's out that Charlie has the highest security clearance. :D
I miss Megan in the first season too. I never liked Terry either, but Megan from the very first moment. I think they mentioned something why Terry went away.
I never got far with the quotes, it's really difficult for me to get every word.

I do miss some of the Don/Charlie interactions sometimes in the later seasons. But I feel that the show has developed a lot more with the whole cast too, so often I'm too distracted by the rest of the awesome to notice :P

See I watched season 1 as it was originally airing when my mom and sister managed to get me to sit down, and I wasn't really wowed by it, but I totally fell in love with the second season. I was always just meh to Terry. She was too business like, and just *there*. Even David was kind of like that in the first season.
Megan, I actually had a bit of trouble getting used to her voice (it's kind of whiney), but as soon as she started really flirting with Larry, that was it for me. They're so cute! <3
I think they mentioned something why Terry went away.
They just said that she transferred to Washington. Really casually, so it was easy to miss.

I have no idea why I liked Megan from the very first moment. I just did. I always liked that she seems to understand most of the stuff Charlie says and I so adore her interactions with the rest of the team, espcially with Colby. They are fun to watch.

I'm re-watching season 2 right now, and honestly? They seem to have something from the very beginning. The first time she comes over and Larry's in the room, she just kind of brightens up, way more than she does with others. And asking if he'll give her a drive in his car (around the parking lot :P).
One of the things I like a lot about Megan, especially when compaired to Terry, is that she's pretty into her subject. She really gets into the profiling, but will also make jokes with the others about it, and you get that she's really good at her job. Terry, it would just come up once in a while, and she was always so factish that it was like she was reading from a textbook. Megan quotes things like they're from a textbook, but she emphasizes things, and makes it sound *important*.
*loves my Megan!*

She totally does. I saw that epi yesterday.

Yes, she makes it sound important and useful for the case. I just saw 2x02 this morning and there happened exactly what you just described. And I loved it.

Ditto.
