What a day to come back to LJ. The wank is already hitting my flist, it's almost one in the morning and I have to get up super early tomorrow to drive my dad to the airport through a huge storm. I should soooo be sleeping right now :S
I made it there and back alive. Actually there were less accidents than usual on the ride home because everyone was being super careful, but the roads weren't actually that bad.
Still we got 40cm of snow today (about 16") and they're expecting another 20cm over night. We definitely won't have to worry about a green Christmas *this* year.
To be honest though, and I'm just going off of gut feelings here, and have no actual info to back me up, I don't think this is going to be a bad thing. 6A has been treating us like shit, and they're obviously glad to be rid of us. And I'm not sure how this is going to play out *practically* since they're making a business in the US to run LJ, but Russia's rules about content are a lot less than most of the rest of the world, so if the company is based from there, they have less reasons to give in to the shit that 6A has felt pressured by.
