It's weird, but so far it hasn't really felt any different. My eyesight was never so bad that I couldn't see in the morning, I just couldn't, say, watch TV without my glasses. I still find myself forgetting that I'm not wearing glasses, or that I don't need glasses. Like, whenever I go to wipe my eyes, I approach the eye, like I have to sneak under some glasses, or a couple times yesterday, I kept thinking "Oh I should put my glasses on" when I didn't feel them on my face.

Still it's really nice. :)

It was expensive to get done ($3500) and I don't have health insurance, so no, it wasn't covered, but most health insurances won't cover it anyways. Still, it's something I've wanted for a long time, and I figured this is the best time to get it, since it'll be the best bang for my buck, since I'll save on more pairs of glasses. Also, they don't guarantee that you won't need glasses later on in life, so when I'm 40, I'll probably need reading glasses. Hopefully I'll have 20 glasses free years in the meantime. :)
