So I just got back from seeing Yoav live. What an amazing concert! He's so interesting to watch. If you've never heard of him before, he has a rather unique way of playing, all his sounds are made with his guitar, except for the singing. He slaps and plucks and strums. When he plays he has this line of foot petals at his feet, and before each song, he sets up the sounds by hitting the various parts of his guitar, and then will set certain beats as the background of his song, and will hit different foot petals as he plays to add emphasis while still playing is main melody. You can see it in the video below, although you can't see the foot pedals.

The best song of the concert was during the encore. He had us learn a line of the song, and at the end had us sing that part while he sang something different above us. I've never felt so included in a concert before, it totally rocked my socks! I'm so glad I went, even if it is late and I have work tomorrow. Totally worth it!
