This news makes me feel that tired kind of sad. Since I've never even seen an episode, I guess I'm feeling sad for you and my other peeps in this fandom. I'm sorry to hear it. I hope you'll continue to find joy playing in SGA despite the end of canon.
It's such a big vibrant fandom that it's going to be hitting a lot of people hard :(
I suppose the plus side of that is, since we're so big it'll take a while for it to die off, or well, not die off, but change so much that it's unrecognizable to me. :-/

think we can persuade them to have John & Rodney kiss as a send off? SG-1 and Jack and Daniel standing at the altar in their last season... but SGA has never played it up as much, Duet not withstanding.
