OMG, earlier today there was a kangaroo and 4 wallabys on the loose. The managed to find all of them but one wallaby which is still out wandering the streets of Eastern Ontario. I can't help but find the idea of a kangaroo hopping around in the snow (which we currently have on the ground, especially in the country where the animals lived) hilarious.

I just... keep picturing a scene from all those kids movies with some woman waiting at the Timmies drive through on the way to work when all of a sudden a kangaroo hops by, slipping on the ice and her eyes just bug out of her head :P

The owners were on the news tonight almost in tears, they're not going to give up looking for it. Lets just hope they find it before a bear or coyote does :S
And, this is a totally random note, but there have been a lot of coyotes around lately. I mean, I often go years without seeing them (generally you just hear them at night) but I've seen two so far this month....
