And I'm Outa Here

So, I don't know if I've mentioned this on my LJ or not. But I'm on vacation this week! We did the first (very small) leg of the journey today by driving down to Mississauga to pick up my sister and brother-in-law and tomorrow morning we're getting up bright and early to start the drive down to Florida. It'll be nice to escape some of the cold winter weather we've been getting lately. Also, I've been really kind of stressed at work (I keep finding more grey hairs!) so a nice relaxing week in the sun (or as relaxing a week that I can get with a 7 month old baby and my mother) is just what I need.

I think the place we're staying at has internet, so I might be on, but hopefully I'll be too busy having fun. See you all in a week!

Thanks! It's already looking fun! I'm sitting outside, by the pool, no jacket on (although, I'm thinking of getting one since it's a little chilly). All I need now is a cabana boy ;)

Have fun! Although I think Florida is relatively cool for them right now, too. Still, if I can extrapolate from what I've seen of our national weather, I doubt you've been above freezing for at least a week.

Yeah, it's not exactly shorts weather in Florida right now (we're in North Carolina right now and it's about 5 C), but still, it's not -30 so I'm really not complaining.

Also, you can so pick out the out of state people/people visiting from the North, because our cars are all gross and covered in salt, meanwhile all the locals have shining clean cars :P
