OMG There is not enough *head desk*ing to describe this.
So, fellow Canadians: Have you seen the official Vancouver 2010 Olympic outfits yet? No?
You may not want to:

So, do they have an army of grandma's knitting them somewhere? Reindeer sweaters? Really? This is the best we can do? Do we want to be laughed at on an international stage?
According to Hudson's Bay Company (the official provider) president Jeff Sherman "We have designed product to make sure it is something people will be happy to have as part of their wardrobe long after the Games are over - not just something they'll want to wear for two weeks during the Games."
WHO WOULD WEAR THAT VOLUNTARILY!!!
Oh look, you too can have a fugly cardigan too, only $100

That's some classy sophisticated shit there, I'm proud to be a Canadian like never before. The ball cap is a nice touch too. Is there a pocket in that sweater for a pack of smokes?

Seriously. Over at CBC it's being dubbed "Hoser Chic."
I can handle the lumberjack shirts, the touques and the trucker caps but I really feel reindeer cardigans are taking it a step too far.

Cool, comments from anyone are always welcomed here :)

Why would anyone want to buy that. Hell, if someone *gave* it to me I doubt I'd wear it.
