This is perfect!!! I realised while listening that the story had stuck in my brain from the one time I read it, and it was doubly amazing to hear your interpretation and realising how aptly it captures the story and its mood(s). Your delivery was--- so incredibly fitting, all the funny parts really had me laughing, and the way you managed to hold the dramatic tension with every "so, so fucked", giving it exactly the tone needed for each of its intended meanings. Your recording is very lively --- in short, I loved this.

Thank you! That's such lovely feedback! I'm glad my reading worked for you since this was basically the first Pete/Patrick thing I recorded and it's always worrisome recording a new pairing and getting their voices down.

In podfic, what I look for in character voices is not so much authenticity, as a truth to their character as depicted in the story, and you did very well on that ^^. And of course I recced this. It deserves to get attention!
