I know! I *never* watch a whole hockey game from beginning to end if I'm just at home, but my butt did not move from that chair yesterday!
Also, how sad will it be if the sens lose to Anaheim? They were interviewing random people on the streets or in bars, and most of them didn't even know that their team was in the Stanley Cup playoffs. One man interviewed was like "Yeah, I *love* sports" Reporter:"So what do you think about the Stanley cup playoffs?" Guy:"Stanley cup? I thought we were talking about sports, Hockey doesn't count."
That's the town we lost the first game to? Mean while there isn't a man woman or child in this town that isn't following the game. Pretty much every car on the road is carrying a Sens flag, or sticker. It'll just kill us all if we don't win. It's been 80 years dude!
The Senators lost 2 to 3 in the last 10 minutes of the first Stanley Cup play off game. It was heart breaking to watch. They had it tied for most of the third period, and then the Ducks just had this huge burst of energy and just kept at it. The Sens had a good run going with 55 seconds left, but a fight started and the refs called time, and we lost it. :(
Gah, we *can't* lose the cup to Anaheim. How will we hold our heads up? But the team's so good!
