So. I'm a really cheap person. I never really spend money on myself, except when I do. Then I tend to spend more money than I should. I'm in one of those not-cheap moods right now.

List of things Lindsay *wants*
-Something like this so come the new seasons, I can rip episodes from the TV instead of having to rely on bit torrent. Also, *shiny*
-Season 3 of Atlantis on DVD. Now. I'm currently re-ripping my SGA DVDs since the copies I had went corrupt.
->While I'm buying DVDs online, I want A Dog's Breakfast too. Has anyone heard of it being sold somewhere other than Amazon.com?
-A new computer. Mine's a piece of crap (stupid Gateway).

I've also been in this really productive mood lately where I want to *do* things. Fandom things, but I can't seem to settle on *one* thing. I want to vid, but I want to redesign my webpage first, since, while I love it, it's only QaF, and I'm a multi fandom vidder now (I seriously need to get around to posting my SGA vid. I finished it *months* ago). Sigh. I just... I suck at visualizations. I think I finally came up with an idea of how to organize the site, but now I can't think of any graphics or colour schemes. I've come to the realization that I like black a little too much, and that my colour schemes need more than one colour :/

Oh I totally can't afford a new computer right now. This one is still new, I got it for Christmas. I just am frustrated because it's broken (again!) and I'm going to have to send it in (again!) and since it's the same problem as the first problem I had, that made me have to send it in, it's probably going to end up taking two months for me to get it back (again :S). Hence my hate for Gateway.

I'm actually pretty ok with most colours (just not most pinks, and light greens), but when left to my own devices choose pretty dark colours. Right now, I'm more worried about making headers that don't suck, since me + graphics = le suck. I think I need a better program than the one I've got :(

Let me know what you think of the vid. I made it months ago before season 2 came out on DVD, so I didn't use a lot of episodes from past then since I couldn't rip the eps. Also, total crack. Remember. :P

Awwww OMG that's so cute! And hilarious with that image. But so adorable and you chose some of the most perfect clips for them right down to the pov's of the characters. It works so well. And I'm completely in love with the vid and the characters and their relationship *hearts* The beginning is particularly to die for. The shudder at my paw and the bit alarming were so great. And that kiss will never get old. God, I love Duet. Great vid!

jescaflowne vid Another Sunday (Stargate Atlantis) (http://jescaflowne.livejournal.com/76458.html) that is my favorite SGA vid ever (closely behind is Stress) that blew me away with the effects and the LOVE and how it captures why I adore the show. You MUST watch it. I can't help much with graphics as I suck at them and took mine from a template. But it works for me. I hope you figure it out!

Yay! I'm glad you liked! And yes, that image, about the extend of my photoshopping skills. :P I kind of just thought it would help with the cracky atmosphere. Although I totally had to do it twice because the first time I put Rodney's head on Belle. :S

:P Unlike with Otherman, I actually tried to keep the POV this time. And when I tried to screw around with it when it came to the other characters, my beta made me change it and stop being lazy :P

And sorry I took so long to reply, but I wanted to watch the vid you rec'ed first, but well, I downloaded it, and then didn't have time, and now my computer's off to be repaired and I can only get the internet on my mom's computer to last for about 30 seconds before I have to repair it, so no real downloading can go on until I get my computer back :S

I'm so sorry for the internet loss :( That must suck. Hopefully soon you'll get to check it out! There's a couple moments (among many) that I think you will particularly enjoy.
