LJ/IJ/DW

So, I've been meaning to ask this for a while now but I kind of suck at commenting in the first place.

I know that there are a lot of people who have multiple journals and crosspost. I've mostly been ignoring my DW flist since it's 99% duplicates of my other flists, but since I know some people would like to make the switch, a poll:

I've been angsting about this issue myself. I have a permanent account on IJ but I love DW sooooo much! And my inner and outer circles here are about 4 times the size that they are on IJ. It's hard to make these decisions...

Really? Is that because you have LJ friends over here? Or have you gone looking for DW friends? At the moment I hardly ever check my circle because it's just repeats of my other flists. Still, I'll try and remember where people prefer I comment :)

I love DW sooooo much!
I do like a lot of the features over here, like the automatic crossposting, but I'm not too impressed that it doesn't cross post polls completely. I would rather have had a poll on each of my journals instead of having my other journals link back to this poll. :-/

I've picked up several LJ friends that I was following passively through feeds on IJ, and I've acquired a host of new friends in the SGA fandom, the majority of which didn't bother with IJ when Strikethrough happened.

It was somewhat awkward getting into a new fandom at the same time as leaving LJ, so I've been very passive for the last couple of years. I'm suddenly all active and interested again, and part of that is due to DW.

I was going to ask you about the polls, and now I know. Shame about that, really. Maybe they'll fix that in the future.

Yeah, I think SGA fandom is one of the bigger fandom presences over her on DW since it was some SGA people that got the ball rolling over here. Although it's funny, of the people on my flist, most haven't moved over. There are a couple cross posting but they're mostly IJ people, not LJ people (maybe because IJ people are more used to crossposting?). Of the people cross posting, only one of them has comments turned off everywhere but DW, and she was someone who refused to move to IJ because she didn't think there was anything wrong with LJ.

As for the polls, I can understand why it'd be useful to have everyone go back to a single poll instead of multiple ones (and it's nice you can vote with an open id) but I wish there was a choice. Like a little ticky box asking "do you want multiple polls? Or to link back to this one" kind of like they have for comments.
