*itches*
One of the girls in my department has chicken pox. So far we've spent most of the morning going "OMG, did she have it as a child? She did!? I didn't know you could get it twice!" *scratch scratch*
Because that's just what we need, for everyone to get the chicken pox. :S
I'm not actually that worried, but you can't help but feel itchy, just at the idea.
In other news, I completely jinxed myself yesterday while talking to a coworker. I mentioned that I haven't really been sick this year but last year around this time, I got sick and my asthma acted up. Which I soooo don't have time for this year with all the podficing I need to do.
So, last night while podficing? I started coughing. Asthma coughs. I can still feel it in my lungs :S Not impressed.

And I commiserate on asthma - mine always acts up in the fall due to certain allergens. I hope it lets up for you.
Sorry, I realize this is all extremely random from a passerby, I was just scooting around my network page. :)

my three children (who HAVE been vaccinated) brought it home to me. :(
Oh, that's worrisome. I'm going to visit my young nephews this weekend, who haven't had chicken pox before. I would hate to have them catch it through me. I can't imagine that I could carry it that long though, right? I mean, my coworker isn't here today, and I'll only be seeing my nephews on Saturday....
*worries*
I did have chicken pox as a kid, but that doesn't mean you won't get shingles as an adult. And it's more likely to occur if you're already sick. And, you know, asthma.
My asthma for the most part doesn't bother me, but it always pops up if I get sick. And generally in the fall and again at the beginning of winter. If I'm going to end up at the doctor's (and sometimes the hospital) it's generally in December. :S

My asthma almost always kills me in December - I seem to hit up the ER every other Christmas. :/

I remember that. When I was a kid, I spent many a Christmas at the ER. I haven't had to do that for a couple years not though. The worse time for me was my first year of university when I was stressed and home sick and living in a city with all it's exhaust (I grew up pretty much in the country). I ended up missing a month of classes and my final exams because I just couldn't really move without going into fits. Actually, I was almost quarantined for SARS, because the symptoms were so close.
