Podfic for 2011 (yes, all of 2011 - God)

OK, after the panic of the last post, I think I need to maybe set up a schedule or something to keep me on track if I’m ever going to get this stuff done. :S This is mostly for personal reference, but feel free to laugh at my optimism. Or to threaten me if I miss dates/milestones.

(I'm so glad I didn't sign up for podfic_bigbang now)

Possibly there will be mad catching up to get my podbang podfics in before posting starts. And probably catching up on orbedrowned, since the Sept 24 date just gets me through what she currently has posted. Maybe she’ll be finished before I’m even caught up to now /O\

Over commitment? What is that?

Oh, and you know, podfic_bingo is going to have to be done at some point. I guess December will be spent filling in blanks on that. Hopefully I can use some of these other podfics for it. I’m really tempted to abuse my modly powers and stack my bingo card…


God, the vacation schedule should be coming around soon. I don’t know if I’m going to plan any big trips this year (I need a travel buddy! Also, that’ll screw up my podficcing schedule!), maybe I’ll just book days for whenever I plan to start a podfic, that way I can get through a day of recording in relative silence….

And this is a sign that fandom is taking over your life.

On the plus side, that's at least 13 podfics for the year. Less than last year but a much higher word count (over 200K so over 20 hours, in 2010 I recorded ~130K, just over 13 1/3 hours).

Yeah, I don't know if I'll do one (I'm not sure I'll even be in the country the weekend of the con :S) but if I do, it's well in the future, I'll deal with it then.

Right now, I think I've already thrown off the schedule because my start date might be delayed. I tried recording tonight but there was just too much noise (why did I decide to live so close to the airport?). So instead I jumped online and started researching how to make a sound proof room. I talked it over with kronos999 and diurnal_lee and I think we're going to do it! We're going to make one! Possibly as early as this weekend! :D
