I need some advice

Ok, I'm going crazy here, so I'm hoping someone on my flist can help.

I have adware on my computer, and I can't seem to get rid of it. I'm getting pop ups every 5 minutes, and I want them to STOP!

I use McAfee as a virus scan, and also have Spybot Search and Destroy. I've run them both a gazillion times, both normally and in safe mode.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do? Any good programs out there to get rid of this thing?

I used to have a lot of troubles with adware poppin up on my computer but I find using both Spybot Search & Distroy and Ad-Aware ( http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5 ) keeps the crap off my computer :D Good luck!

Umm, well I'm getting *less* pop ups... That's a start.

I combine Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware with SpywareBlaster. It blocks all future spyware as well.

Thanks, I installed the SpywareBlaster, but it didn't get rid of it. Hopefully it'll stop it from happening again though!
