I've been participating in meme's on other people's journals lately, so I thought it was time to do one on mine. And also distract from some of the unhappy podfic things going on lately. So.

Give me a fandom and I'll tell you what I think I know and you can tell me how right/wrong I am.

The Pretender

Oh, I've actually seen a few eps of this! (possibly more than you?) But it's been a while, so lets see.

The main character is Jared and he was possibly part of a government program to turn him into a super soldier or something? Jared can be sort of child-like in his interest in simple things but is really smart and manages to always beat Ms.... M? I think she had a full last name, but only an initial for her first name?

Presumably Ms. M is trying to capture Jared and bring him back to the secret program he escaped from but never really catches him.

Digimon?

Pretty good. He's a pretender who is a genius that can pretend to be different people and pick up skills really quickly. Ms. Parker is the name I think you're looking for.

Digimon: Digimon, digital monsters, digimon are the champions! I think this was a kind of pokemon ripoff. Daisuke seems like a name I associate with it. That's all you're getting.

Next up: Once a Thief.

I guess it was sort of a pokemon rip off, except I don't know much about pokemon so I can't speak much to it.

There's this group of kids that get pulled into the digiverse and run across the digital monsters and yeah, they sort of have pokemon style fights and the kids help them digivolve into bigger and better monsters. I think at some point too, they go back to their own world and there's some back and forth? Man, how sad is it that I have to start going back 10 years in my fannish life to find something we haven't shared?

Once a Theif
I have no idea of the actual facts, so.

It's a TV show about an ex-cat burglar. He used to be the best in the biz but now he's trying to live a normal, quiet life. Until! Something happens to his daughter who's now in trouble! In the pilot he breaks out his old skills to try and save her and now she knows about his past and demands to be trained. So he starts passing on his knowledge and skills to her.

The Bridgerton Series!

Decent guess. It is about a thief who was raised by the mob in Hong Kong and manages to piss off the next leader (his adopted brother) and a bunch of other triads. He ends up getting recruited by The Director to work for her alongside his ex-girlfriend/not-actually-sister and her new fiancée. In Canada. Wackiness and choreographed fights ensue.

Bridgerton Series:
About the family Bridgerton through several generations of marriage and children. And also, vampire slaying. (Yeah, that last bit I made up.)

A series about viking zombies! The only way to kill them is with fire, but it's sooooo cold!

Book fandom. Evil (with a capital E) undead sorcerer and a warrior priest unwillingly team up to track down memory stealing monsters. Then they save the world from a demon that feeds on sadism who is trying to alter humanity to bring that emotion to the forefront. (Oh god, so slashy. The priest actually goes to hell to pull the guy out in the last book. And they snark at each other the entire time.)

Oh yeah! I should have remembered that Once a Thief was Canadian. That's the one Lianne wrote fic for that you liked, right?

About the family Bridgerton through several generations of marriage and children
It's actually only one generation (the Baroness had 8 children! And they'll never forgive her for naming them alphabetically). It's a series of romance novels but if you pretend the ton is vampires, even that last bit fits!

The Prisoner

So, the prisoner is about a guy whose wife is murdered and he ends up getting blamed for it and going to jail. And prison is prison, so it sucks and there is rape and this dude just tries to be quiet and serve his time. Meanwhile he's slowly chipping a tunnel through the wall of his cell until one day it gets big enough for him to climb out to freedom!

Oh wait, that's the Shawshank Redemption. Never mind. :P

The Four Feathers

I will refer you to here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkN6pgz6xWU) for an awesome vid. Okay, spy tries to quit and ends up getting kidnapped. He finds himself in a village that he can't escape from and his only identity is number 6. He keeps trying to find out who number 1 is and escape while those running the place try to find out why he quit. It is a little strange (in the best way possible).

The Four Feathers: Guy refuses to go to war so his friends give him four white feathers symbolising cowardice. He ends up going anyway undercover and saves their lives, though I think one of them ends up blind.
