27/2/13 20:47So, today can alternately be titled "Snow Day!" We Got a lot of snow today, like, more than a foot, and we're still getting more tonight. Luckily we just had a bit of a thaw and some of the previous snow had melted away, otherwise I'm sure this year would be looking a lot like the Winter of '08.

23/2/13 19:17So a couple people on my flist are did this meme, even more did it last year, but I wasn't able to participate due to life but I wanted to try and do it this year. I don't know how good I'll be at doing it every day for the whole week, since I've been meaning to start doing it for a couple days now and today is the first day I actually did it. But we'll see.

I'm just glad I was sitting on the side of the bed I was when I decided to do this, because if I was on the other, the closest book was a math textbook :S Although discussing exponents could have implied good things I guess?
Also, depending on my energy levels, I may be posting podfic meta soon.

Basically, you leave a comment and I'll check out your interests and draw you a picture based on what I read. It probably won't be pretty (I'm not all that artistically inclined) but it will likely be funny :P (You can see some of the pics I drew the first time 'round here in amongst some other random pics). 8/1/09 12:53Ok Ottawa, WTF. *Yesterday* was the snow storm. Why is it, I was able to get to work yesterday in 70 minutes but today it took me 2 hours. *And* I left early. I'm so not impressed.

So, I spent a good portion of this past weekend falling in love with vids (again). I've slowly been organizing the vids on my computer and have been rewatching my favourites. Doing so never ceases to remind me just how much I love vidding and how there are some truly talented people out there. It really makes me want to share the love with my flist. I was thinking it might be fun to try and challenge myself so for the month of January, I'm going to try and post one vid rec a day.
Is anyone interested in seeing this? I can't promise that they'll be the most original recs, a lot of the vids currently on my computer are older, or else I found them through someone else's rec. I am hoping that this can help me a bit as a vidder. So often I just watch a vid and get swept away with it but never take the time to articulate why it was able to do that.
I've already started to write some up (so at the very least you'll get 4 recs :P)
And while I'm updating, ( here's that first line meme so many are doing: )
