Vid Archive

Today in vidding  sunryse00  talked about starting a vidding archive. I think this is such a good idea. I know that when I frist started to vid, I was so worried about where to host it, and certainly about advertising it. I'm not sure if an archive could immediatly solve these problems for people, but it could be a first step. It would also be a great way for people in multiple fandoms to find the vids that they want.

In my multiple replies to that post, I think my enthusiam was accuratly conveyed, but I'm really afraid that all the people who expressed interest in helping will never do anything unless they are constantly reminded of it. I would really like to be a part of htis process, but I realise I don't have all that many technical talents to lend, so I'll stuck with what I do best and nag people into doing it for me. To help in that I've set up a community so that people can show what they can give, and we can actually organise this thing. So if you're interested in updates on this idea or have something to contribute yourself feel free to join.

ETA: Gahh, I'm such a dumb ass, I go into a long post promoting my new community, and then don't say what it is. It's called vidding_archive.
