revolutionaryjo. When I ask an author for permission to podfic their work, I have a certain set of expectations of what that means however, as podficers, we rarely take the time to let the authors in on those expectations unless something weird comes up.
For a number of author's, my request to podfic may have been their first encounter with podfic and they don't really know what to expect. Or even if they do know about podfic, there certainly isn't a consensus among podficers as to what we expect. So, I'd like to spell it out :)
